Rochester
was once the softball capital of the world. Rochester won the Fastpitch Softball
World Series three times. When people talk about mens’ fastpitch they
usually use the past tense, but SURPRISE!, mens’ fastpitch is still
being played in the Rochester area.

Monday Fastpitch Division
Men
are playing at the Henrietta Town Park
on Caulkins Rd. It's between the Dome
Arena and the town library. Well worth
the trip just to see how much movement
some of the men have on the ball, some
of the pitching is over 70 mph. This is
the last full league night of their season.
The Men's League play with the same rules
as the girls high school & travel.
Pitching distance 46 feet and stealing
only after the ball leaves the pitchers
hand. There are 4 field at the park and
some have slow pitch on them, look for
the catchers with full gear and the straight
level 60 - 80 mph pitches.

Orioles, Sturdell Industries, Batts Academy,
Farsiders, Sizzlers, Execuscribe and Stevie
