The Monroe Blazers Girls Fastpitch Softball Club has been representing the Greater
Rochester area for over 12 years and is known state-wide for competing at the
highest level with well-respected and competitive teams. Many of our current
players are the top players on their respective high school teams. Teams will
play between 30 and 50 games in 7 or 8 tournaments as well as league play If

The Rochester Lady Lions Girls Fastpitch Softball is a non-profit United
States Junior Olympic Softball program for age groups 12u, 14u, 16u, 18u
and 23u.
Our elite travel teams allow young female athletes to play against the
highest level of competition in regional, state, and national
championship play. They compete in high exposure tournaments both in and
out-of-state. Rochester Lady Lion players are able to showcase their
talents and look to the future for numerous college scouts from around
the nation attend these competitions. Several Rochester Lady Lion
players have been named county and state all stars and have earned
athletic/academic scholarships to many prestigious colleges and
universities.
Rochester Lady Lions provides girls with many desirable experiences.
They learn concepts of cooperation, communication, self-discipline,
leadership, and teamwork. These are necessary skills in becoming
successful players and teams.

The Lightning Elite 18U
I would like to post our tryouts for the upcoming 2009 season.
The Lightning Elite 18U travel softball team will be holding tryouts for the
2009 season.
Tryout dates are Thursday, August 15th and Friday, August 16th
The Lightning Elite 18U Tryouts have been changed.
New Dates & Times are Friday, August 15th from 6:00-8:30 pm and Saturday,
August 16th from 2pm-4pm at Irondequoit High School Softball Field.
Tryouts at the Irondequoit High School softball field. The Lightning will be
competing at the 18U level in the upcoming season with a focus on showcase and
invitational tournaments. We are looking for dedicated softball players who
are wiling to train year round and are interested in playing at college. Check

2009 tryouts for the Rochester Revenge
fastpitch softball teams. These tryouts are for all age brackets -
from 10U to 18U. Tryout dates are August 16, 17, and
24 from 1-4PM at the Victor Central School complex
(953 High Street, Victor).
Players are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible. In addition, for those players unfamiliar with the Rochester Revenge organization, the 2nd half of the "Revenge is Sweet" tournament is being held this weekend (Aug 8-10) at the Victor complex. This is a great opportunity to see live 12U and 14U action, watch 3 of the Revenge teams play, and interact with the coaching staff in between games to learn more.

WARSAW THUNDER 8U & 10U
Sunday September 14th Warsaw Thunder will be having their
try-outs/organization of their 10 and under and 8 and under teams.
This will be held at the softball field behind the Warsaw High School.
8 and under coach pitch from 4-5pm and 10 and under from 5-6:30pm.
10U-playing in either local league or MGSL 2-4 tournaments
8U-local games and 1-2 tournaments-last year this team played coach
pitch against Attica 8U and Avon 9U for a 14 game schedule . They
finished out the year playing a player pitch 9u tournament in
Wellsville.

You can come to both sessions but only one is required
Tryouts will be held at the Penfield
Town Hall softball fields which are
located at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Jackson Road in Penfield. Pitchers
and catchers may be asked to stay a little longer. Please bring glove, bat and
helmet if you have them. There will be bats and helmets available if needed.
